Base pay range

$18.63/hr - $20.26/hr

FT Production Team Lead (2nd Shift)

Based in St. Paul, Minnesota, it is a collection of premium dessert companies and brands: Steven Charles, The Original Cakerie, Lawler's Desserts, Atlanta Cheesecake Company and most recently, Dianne's Fine Desserts. Dessert Holdings is owned by Bain Capital and is continuing its journey of rapid growth.

The company employs approximately 3,000 people across eight manufacturing facilities and its headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota. The manufacturing facilities are geographically dispersed, with two facilities in Canada and one each in Colorado, Texas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and North Carolina.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead production in exact accordance with the product specifications, task sheets and visual standards.
• Support the production team in achieving daily production yields, efficiency and productivity targets.
• Ensure all paperwork is kept in order, completed properly and submitted on time.
• Maintain the highest quality & safety standards, adhering to all GMPs, Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure the area is kept clean and tidy at all times, to prevent potential contamination and/or injury.
• Prepare QA samples and documentation as needed.
• Liaise with relevant personnel on equipment repairs as needed to prevent and minimize downtime.
• Support the training, coaching and development of team members.
• Ensure the overall efficiency and productivity of the operation is maintained at a high standard.
• Help keep downtime, material and time wastage to a minimum.
• Ensure changeovers are smooth with minimal downtime and all time accounted for.

• Be able to record and reconcile information while prioritizing
• Have the ability to work independently and with minimal direction
• Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

• 2nd Shift operates from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM
