Bloomberg is seeking a senior leader to define and scale our Private Markets Valuations business from Bloomberg’s Pricing group. You will craft the strategic vision, oversee product design and deployment, and partner with marquee clients to deliver market-leading valuation solutions across private assets.

You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, data, analytics and risk to embed valuations into client workflows, drive growth, and shape the roadmap for a rapidly evolving market.

What's the role?

We are looking for an ambitious and creative senior leader to lead and scale our Private Markets Valuations business. This role will focus on building a market-leading suite of valuation solutions across private assets, bringing greater transparency, consistency and insight to an increasingly important segment of the capital markets. Private markets across all asset classes are a key growth area for our clients, who are seeking robust, independent and scalable valuation solutions.

Reporting directly into the Head of Pricing, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for Bloomberg’s Private Markets Valuations offering. You will partner closely with marquee clients to design and launch innovative pricing products that address complex valuation challenges and evolving industry needs. This includes developing solutions that integrate seamlessly into client workflows and support decision-making across investment, risk, and portfolio management functions.

We are looking for a proven leader who can articulate a vision and and inspire a team of product managers while working collaboratively across engineering, data, analytics, risk and portfolio solutions teams. The scope of the role is broad, spanning product design, development, deployment, commercialization and ongoing enhancement to ensure we deliver a best-in-class valuation solution across private markets.

We’ll trust you to:

• Define and execute the strategic vision for Bloomberg’s Private Markets Valuations business
• Design, develop and deliver innovative valuation products across private market asset classes
• Partner with marquee clients to co-create solutions that solve complex valuation challenges
• Drive adoption and commercialization of private markets valuation products globally
• Collaborate across engineering, data, analytics, risk and portfolio teams to integrate valuations into broader workflows
• Identify market opportunities and anticipate client needs in a rapidly evolving private markets landscape
• Ensure Bloomberg’s Private Markets Valuations offering is positioned as a market-leading solution
• Engage with senior stakeholders internally and externally to align on strategy and execution
• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, including development, deployment, marketing and enhancement
• Stay abreast of evolving market trends and ensure our products are well positioned to capitalize on these trends

You’ll need to have:

• 10+ years of capital markets experience including significant experience in private markets (e.g. private equity, private credit, real assets)
• Deep understanding of private markets valuation methodologies, workflows and challenges
• Strong knowledge of the private markets ecosystem, including market participants, data challenges and regulatory considerations
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic product roadmaps
• Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions
• Strong commercial acumen with experience driving product adoption and growth
• Passion for innovation and building differentiated solutions in an emerging and rapidly evolving market
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex data and technology challenges
• Appreciation of the commercial value of data and experience monetizing data products at scale
• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive team environment

We’d love to see:

• Leadership experience in product management, business management or risk management within financial services
• A good understanding of the Bloomberg Terminal and its functionality
• Experience building or scaling valuation solutions for private markets
• Familiarity with integrating valuation data into risk, analytics and portfolio management workflows
• Knowledge of data delivery models, APIs and modern data platforms
• Demonstrable experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects and initiatives
• Prior experience developing a new product or growing an existing one

Salary Range = 235,000-350,000 USD Annual+ Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
