Job summary
SelectQuote Insurance Services is seeking a Team Lead for Pharmacy Production. You will assist the Assistant Manager and Manager with daily operations, supervise technicians and pharmacists, and help manage workflow on the production floor to ensure accurate prescription processing.
The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, adherence to productivity standards, and opportunities for career progression within the Production Team. Knowledge of SRx processes is highly valued.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in the Production Setting or SRx role.
- Must meet minimum productivity standards in current SRx role.
- Not on a performance improvement plan or quality improvement program.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Assistant Manager and Manager with day-to-day production floor operations and staffing.
- Answer staff questions and help workflow on the production floor.
- Restock supplies and ensure adequate work for shipping and MFILL areas.
- Move totes between production areas and support timely prescription processing.
- Ensure accuracy in processing prescriptions and proper handling of shipments.
- Support career progression within the Production Team.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to maintain smooth operations.

The Team Lead Pharmacy Production Floor assists the Assistant Manager and Manager with day to day operations including but not limited to answering questions from the staff assisting work flow on the production floor and restocking supplies.
- The team lead will have supervisor responsibilities over the technicians and pharmacists
- Trained in all areas of production (Rx Safe VMI Countmate PASS MFILL Shipping) or willing to be trained in all areas of production.
- Addresses issues on the floor from other associates knowing when to direct major questions to assistant manager and manager.
- Run the floor moving totes between the different areas of production.
- Moves waiting for ship prescriptions to shipping ensuring that the shippers have ample amount of work at all times.
- Collect totes from shipping and restock totes at MFILL and PV2 Pharmacists.
- Flexibility to be part of the work flow based on demands of the business.
- Help with assignments and movements as needed.
- Career progression within the Production Team.
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Efficient and accurate typing skills
- Aptitude to develop partnerships with teams within the department and across the company
- Ability to use multiple software programs to review patient profiles and process medication orders
- High degree of Interpersonal and organizational skills
- 1 year of experience in the Production Setting or similar SRx role with approval
- Meeting minimum productivity standards in current SRx role
- Not on a performance improvement plan corrective action or quality improvement program
- Active KS Pharmacy Technician Registration required
- Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification Registration (CPhT) required (PTCB or NHA)
Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Prolonged periods of standing and walking around.
