This position works closely with the Department Manager(s) or Store Manager to receive, price, and stock merchandise to meet the needs of the store's customers, drive sales, and increase profits. It involves assisting Team Members in completing their tasks within the store. The role ensures all team members receive appropriate training and ongoing compliance education. As acting leader on duty, the Team Lead responds to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, and is responsible for opening and closing the store, as well as ensuring the safety and security of all bookstore property and team members.
