Job summary

Follett Corporation is seeking a Team Lead to work closely with the Department Manager(s) or Store Manager to receive, price, and stock merchandise to meet the store's customers' needs and drive sales and profits. The role includes assisting team members and ensuring ongoing training and compliance education.

As the leader on duty, you will address customer and staff concerns in the manager's absence, handle opening and closing duties, and ensure store safety and security for all team members

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Able to consistently walk and stand, lift 25-50 pounds, and move merchandise using proper equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to create and save text documents and to create and send emails.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Receives, prices, and stocks merchandise to meet store needs and drive sales and profits.
• Assists team members with completing tasks and ensuring training and education, including compliance training.
• Acts as leader on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, and handling opening/closing duties and safety of store property and staff.

Position Overview

Acts as leader on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, opening and closing the store, and ensuring all bookstore property and team members are safe and secure.

Pay Range

$12.00-$24.33/hour
