Job summary

Southcoast Health seeks an MRI Team Lead for St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This role oversees daily MRI operations, leads staff, and ensures imaging protocols are followed. A sign-on bonus of $20,000 is offered for this position.

The position requires ARRT/ARMRIT or equivalent MRI certification, a Radiologic Technology program, and a Bachelor's degree in health management or related field, plus at least five years of relevant experience. IV and CPR are required.

• Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology OR MRI and attainment of ARRT RT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registration required.
• Bachelor's degree in health management or related field, OR equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Minimum of five years related work experience.
• IV and CPR certifications are also required.

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

*There is a minimal call requirement and weekend or holiday assignments only during staffing difficulties*

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Under the direction of the Manager-Radiology Imaging Svcs-CT-MR or designee, performs diversified duties involving coordinating the daily operation, equipment and activities of assigned personnel. Responsible for the supervision of assigned staff including implementation of protocols. Responsible to perform patient procedures as part of daily duties.

• Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology OR Magnetic Resonance Imaging and attainment of certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in radiography, RT(MR) OR certification from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology. Post primary certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging is required for RT(R) graduates.

• Registration with the ARRT or ARMRIT is required.

• Bachelor's degree in health management or other related field, OR the equivalent knowledge and experience required.

• A minimum of five years related work experience is required.

• IV and CPR certifications are also required.
