Job summary

ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform machine maintenance in a manufacturing setting. You will handle electronic, electrical, and mechanical installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires reading schematics, calibrating instruments, and working with controls and relay logic. Strong teamwork, safety compliance, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree Preferred or Trade School Certificate
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Machine maintenance processes including electronic, electrical, and mechanical installations, as well as repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintaining plant safety, housekeeping standards, and quality checks within a manufacturing environment.
• Disassembling and reassembling of machinery.
• Read and interpret schematics and process control diagrams.
• Troubleshooting and calibrating level, pressure, temperature, and flow measuring instruments.
• Working with electronic controls and circuits, hard wiring relay logic systems and process instrumentation.
• Reading blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Communicating with contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to facilitate smooth operation and project implementation.
• Delegating tasks and leading team members in day-to-day duties.

Salary Range: $34.00-38.00/hour (pending experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday / 6am - 2pm, on call as needed MUST be willing to do Overtime

Qualifications, Education and Experience

• 3+ years’ experience of manufacturing machine maintenance

• Experience with electrical.

• Associates Degree Preferred or Trade School Certificate

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing and team-oriented environment

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations

• Reporting to work on time and dependability is imperative

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.

• Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Safety shoes and vision protection required, hearing protection required in some areas.

This role operates primarily in a manufacturing environment. Employee may be exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels.
