$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Team Lead in Land Development to oversee and guide our civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of civil engineers in land development projects.
- Oversee project planning, design, and execution while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approval and implementation.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
- Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications for compliance with standards.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and team members to foster professional growth and development.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software to create and modify project designs and plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred; Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification is acceptable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
