The laboratories of IU Health offer some of the most comprehensive laboratory services in Indiana, operating 24/7 and performing over 19 million tests annually. In addition to serving IU Health, our laboratory testing services extend to hospitals and physicians nationwide.
The Team Lead at the LAB oversees the Phlebotomy laboratory team, coordinating services such as specimen collection, blood component preparation, pre-analytic processing, waived testing, and moderate complexity testing, along with clerical tasks. The Lead Lab Assistant will dedicate approximately 25% of their time to ad hoc leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities may include patient and specimen registration and specimen delivery.
