Position Summary

The Inventory Lead is responsible for operating MHEs for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting. The role involves data entry for receipts, shipments, and inventory maintenance. The Inventory Lead assists the supervisor/manager in ensuring compliance with quality standards and oversees inventory staff.

Responsibilities
  1. Delegate work to subordinates and oversee scheduled shifts.
  2. Analyze cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  3. Audit error reports and generate monthly data reports.
  4. Manage inventory transactions and report issues.
  5. Lead physical inventory processes.
  6. Maintain knowledge of inventory audit trails and prepare reports.
  7. Assist with staff training and safety compliance.
  8. Communicate effectively with team and management.
  9. Participate in daily meetings and coordinate operations.
  10. Support leadership and work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year experience in logistics/distribution.
  • Ability to operate MHE and forklift.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory management.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years experience in inventory and forklift operation.
  • Current MHE certification.
