Job summary

Follett Corporation is seeking a Store Associate to assist with pricing and stocking merchandise to meet customer needs and drive sales. You will support team members, lead on duty, and help with opening/closing tasks to keep store operations smooth and compliant.

Applicants should have 1-3 years of relevant experience, an associate or equivalent preferred, and the ability to lift 25-50 pounds while maintaining basic computer skills for emailing and document tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Open and close the store and ensure all store property and team members are safe and secure.
• Ensure team members receive training and ongoing compliance education.

Job description

Position Overview

This position works closely with the Department Manager(s) or Store Manager to receive, price, and stock merchandise to meet the needs of the store's customers and drive sales and profits. Assist Team Members with completing the work within the store. Ensures all team members receive the appropriate training and education, including ongoing compliance training. Acts as leader on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, as well as opening and closing the store and ensuring all bookstore property and team members are safe and secure.

Pay Range

$12.00-$24.33/hour
