Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Team Lead - Electrical to supervise daily production tasks and ensure safety and quality standards are met. You will work with the Production Supervisor, assign tasks, train new hires, and drive continuous improvement through lean practices and 6S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Over 3 years related experience
• Basic computer experience with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, AS400 software or similar system knowledge

Responsibilities

• Ensure team follows safety policies, quality policies and procedures.
• Track, measure and enforce team safety goals.
• Accountable for meeting Hill Phoenix’s annual safety goal.
• Ensure team safety processes are followed (R3, 6S).
• Implement and monitor all aspects of the Quality System.
• Ensure team quality processes are followed (Audit Systems, 8D problem solving, inspections).
• Ensure team meets 85% standard hours with 5% monthly reduction target.
• Assign and execute daily production tasks to meet schedule.
• Receive and execute daily work instructions from Production Supervisor.
• Ensure OJT training documents are updated and training new hires.
• Develop associates and drive continuous improvement (lean).
• Assign team tasks across Safety, Quality, Productivity, 6S and communication.
• Escalate parts or engineering issues to supervisor.
• Support and train new standard operating procedures.

(standard hour execution)* Receives and executes daily work instructions from Production Supervisor (i.e. on time delivery to internal customer and lead time reduction)* Ensure OJT Training documents are updated* Perform OJT training of newly hired associates* Works closely with to accomplish associate development and continuous improvement.
