Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking a Team Lead of EDI Processing in Omaha to guide a fast-paced operations team. You’ll mentor staff, manage day‑to‑day tasks, and partner with stakeholders to ensure high‑quality processing and customer service.

You will lead routine and non-routine work, escalate issues when needed, and focus on quality reviews and process improvements in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have High School or GED.
  • 3 - 5+ years of eligibility insurance enrollment experience relevant to the responsibilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written).
  • Demonstrated strong customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Independently manage a variety of operational work, making sound decisions and delivering accurate, high-quality results on time.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with stakeholders and responding flexibly to complex situations.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated issues, partnering with internal business partners to resolve concerns and involve leadership when appropriate.
  • Monitor workloads, prioritize competing demands, and coordinate resources to ensure service and quality standards are met.

The Role at a Glance

The Group Protection Operations Team will help you grow your technical knowledge and establish strong partnerships (internally/externally) while working in this fast-paced environment.

As a Team Lead of EDI Processing, you will perform and deliver on routine and progressively more non-routine assignments independently in accordance with established procedures/guidelines. You will mentor and provide a diverse range of information to team members. You will assist the supervisor with the day to day departmental responsibilities such as tracking team quality, prioritizing work, handling escalated situations, and other tasks that support team success. What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • High School or GED.
  • 3 - 5+ Years of eligibility insurance enrollment experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written).
  • Demonstrated strong customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice-to have Experience (Preferred):

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt as needed.
  • EDI and/or assisting in EDI background/production support experience.

The pay range for this position is$25.69 - $32.45with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
