Job summary

The Gund Company is actively seeking a Team Lead for our Oil & Gas division. This full-time role supports production operations, ensuring parts meet work orders and customer specifications, and involves operating various CNC and non-CNC production equipment.

You will lead a team, train operators, and uphold safety and quality standards while contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment in New York.

Qualifications

• A technical degree and 2+ years of experience preferred, or a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Intermediate math skills & aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand drawing and blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring instruments accurately and effectively.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry

Responsibilities

• Be a technical resource for operators.
• Train and develop less experienced operators with the help of the Value Stream Manager (VSM).
• Complete work order paperwork and maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Operate machines like saws, winders, manual mills, lathes, routers, and more.
• Conduct in-process inspections according to standard procedures.

Shift: 1st 6:00am-2:30pm

Hourly Wage: $29.00+ based on experience

Job Summary Team Lead

As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up various CNC and non-CNC production machinery, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Work Environment Team Lead

• This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
• The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
