Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a store operations assistant to support department activities (grocery or freight), serve customers, and perform cashier and freight tasks as needed. You will join a team focused on fast, friendly service, safety and store standards.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to multi-task, and the physical stamina to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs. Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus, and there is opportunity to grow with the company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist management with store operations in the designated department (grocery or freight).
• Provide world-class customer service and answer questions professionally.
• Perform clerk, cashier and/or freight stocker duties as needed.
• Supervise and direct other clerks, and communicate breaks and tasks to staff.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper storage of merchandise and displays.
