Job summary

Tate, a leader in data center infrastructure, seeks a Manufacturing Team Lead I in Colorado to oversee daily production, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient output on the shop floor. You will coordinate line activities, monitor equipment, and support setup and changeovers.

You will coach and supervise team members, assign daily work, track metrics, and drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • 1-2 years of experience leading teams in production or operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of production workflows and safety standards.
  • Experience with ERP/work orders is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own daily production output ensuring targets, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate production line activities to minimize downtime and maintain workflow continuity.
  • Monitor equipment performance and escalate issues impacting efficiency.
  • Support machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments for consistent operations.

About the Role

The Manufacturing Team Lead I leads daily production operations to ensure efficient output, quality, and safe execution within manufacturing environments. The role is responsible for coordinating production workflows, supervising team members, and supporting real-time problem resolution on the production floor. Success in this role results in consistent production performance, reduced downtime, and improved team efficiency aligned with operational targets.

What You’ll Do
  • Own daily production output ensuring targets, schedules, and quality standards are achieved.
  • Coordinate production line activities maintaining workflow continuity and minimizing operational downtime.
  • Monitor equipment performance and escalation issues impacting efficiency and production output.
  • Support machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments ensuring consistent production operations.
  • Track production metrics and report performance against established operational goals.
  • Lead production team members ensuring consistent execution of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Assign daily work and adjust staffing levels based on production demand requirements.
  • Provide coaching, training, and hands‑on support to improve team performance.
  • Monitor adherence to procedures ensuring compliance with production and operational standards.
  • Communicate priorities, updates, and performance expectations to production team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and required personal protective equipment.
  • Promote safe work practices across all production activities and operational environments.
  • Monitor product quality and address defects or deviations during production processes.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues.
  • Identify process improvements increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving output performance
Additional Expectations
  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You’ll Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments required.
  • 1-2 years of experience leading teams in production or operational environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of production workflows, equipment operation, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience operating and supporting production equipment within fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to monitor production metrics including output, efficiency, and downtime performance.
  • Experience working with production tracking systems, work orders, or ERP platforms preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards, procedures, and manufacturing compliance requirements.
  • Ability to identify operational issues and make real‑time decisions on production floor.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills supporting root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • Effective communication skills across production teams and manufacturing leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills managing priorities, workflows, and daily production activities.
