Job summary

Magna International Limited in Piedmont, South Carolina, is seeking a Team Lead to direct shift activities, coordinate personnel, and ensure production and repair work meets quality standards. The role requires forklift certification and prior metalworking/press experience.

Strong communication, math, and organization are essential. Location flexibility within plant may be required, with opportunities to grow within a global automotive supplier.

Responsibilities

• Gives directions and align associates on the shift to ensure they stay fully utilized.
• Organizations and coordinates the activities of employees to ensure productions/repairs meet quality standards.
• Complete paperwork and inputs (shift summary, downtime, lot traceability, etc.).
• Align manpower to schedule and manage break rotations; cover for absent associates.
• Assist Supervisors with tracking attendance, vacation, overtime and performance issues.
• Train associates and ensure work instructions are followed on the line.
• Perform other duties as required.
