Job summary

FastTrack Staffing is recruiting for a manufacturing role in Grand Haven, MI. The position involves cross-training on multiple machines, assisting management, and supporting the production line with quality checks.

The candidate should be comfortable standing all day, able to work in fiberglass environments, and willing to train new team members. A flexible schedule and team-oriented environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Prior team lead experience is a plus.
• Machine operating experience is advantageous.
• Forklift operating experience is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day.
• Comfortable working with fiberglass.

Responsibilities

• Load glass into the press and align it properly.
• Spread resin on glass.
• Sand edges after processing.
• Inspect parts for quality.
• Package products into correct packaging.
• Work in the mixing department.
• Relieve team members for breaks.
• Train new team members.
• Perform quality audits and operate a forklift.

Job Responsibilities

Cross training on all machines such as Sheet Stock, Mold Press, Pultrusion, Glass cutting, and/or Mixing. Helping out the manager with assisting where needed.

Job Duties

• Loads the glass into the press, lines it up properly
• Spreads the resin on the glass
• Sanding the edges once it is complete.
• Inspecting the parts.
• Packaging them into the correct packaging.
• Working in the mixing department
• Relieving team members for breaks
• Train new team members
• Completing quality auditsOperating a forklift

Skills and Requirements

• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
