Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations, align with supervisors, and ensure accurate, timely tasks are performed by associates.

You will leverage RF, Conveyor, and SAP systems, coordinate with Control Tower, Inventory Control, Transportation, and other teams to meet targets, and drive improvements in efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Two years of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Strong Excel skills with data reporting experience.
• Experience with SAP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and 7S methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team under supervision.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and manage coordination with supervisors.
• Track transactions, monitor targets, and communicate risks to the team.
• Coordinate with Control Tower, Inventory Control, Transportation, Inbound, Pick/Pack, Shipping and Service Delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, create SAP requisitions, and address discrepancies.

Job Description

Arvato is hiring a Team Lead to assist the Supervisors in the daily operations of the Department. In this role, you will be able to demonstrate your leadership abilities by overseeing operations in partnership with your supervisor, monitoring and assigning daily work to warehouse associates, tracking transactions created by personnel, and overseeing the area operations.

YOUR TASKS

• Be the expert in RF, Conveyor, and SAP systems
• Be knowledgeable of all areas of operations and the links between them
• Coordinate with various ops teams (Control tower, Inventory Control, Transportation, Inbound, Pick/Pack, Shipping, Service Delivery) to ensure daily adherence to performance targets is met
• Monitor area activity and communicate all risks of missed targets to the Supervisors
• Coordinate and prepare recovery plan for at-risk targets with Supervision
• Communicate exceptions identified by teams to the Account Team (ie. Inbound damage, missing part numbers)
• Follow up on issues as needed
• Work with the local team to identify areas of improvement and report daily efficiency
• Monitor inventory levels of consumables (boxes, packing slips, etc.) Create requisitions in SAP as needed
• Oversee personnel in a professional manner
• Investigate and repair exceptions (Over, Under, Missing, Damages etc)
• Assigns cycle counts as needed
• Be flexible with shift hours as needed

Qualifications

• At least two years of leadership experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment
• Strong computer skills with experience in Excel, creating worksheets and reviewing/reporting data
• Previous experience with SAP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Driven in Safety and 7s tools
