Job Title:Tarter TankTeam Lead

SUMMARY

TheTeamLead will overseedaily operational functions ofvariousstations within the plant. This leaderis responsible forguiding and motivating team members to achieve production-oriented goals and deliver high-quality results. This roleinvolves problem-solving, providing clear direction, and ensuring effective communication within the team. The Team Lead supports the development of team members through mentoring, training, and feedback, while alsomonitoringperformance and resolving issues that arise. Key responsibilities include delegating tasks, setting priorities, troubleshooting challenges, and fostering collaboration to meetproduction standards.The team lead must be versatile and ready to step into various roles as needed, ensuring smoothoperationsandmaintainingproductivity when a team member is absent.

Essential Functions

• Provideclear guidance, set expectations, and communicate goals to ensure team alignment and productivity.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address and resolve any challenges or obstacles that arise within the team.
• Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, andidentifyopportunities for improvement and skill development.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring work is distributed according to individual strengths and team needs.
• Ensureproductionismet by managing time and resources efficiently, whilemaintaininghigh-quality standards.
• Track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Act as a liaison between the team and upper management, advocating for team needs and ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Resolve conflicts or issues within the team in a constructive and professional manner.
• Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly preventivemeasure processesare being carried out.
• Must be able to provide flexible support by filling in for absent team members across various positions, ensuring continuous workflow andmaintainingteam productivity.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Safety Standards and Compliance:Knowledge ofTartersafety regulations and best practices, including OSHA guidelines, and the ability to ensure a safe working environment for the team.
• Machine Operation and Maintenance: Understanding of the operation and maintenance ofbendingmachines, presses, and other equipment used in the bender station.
• Problem-Solving Techniques : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine malfunctions, material defects, or production delays.
• Team Development:Understandinghow to assess team performance, provide feedback, and coach team members to improve technical skills and work efficiency.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in production demands, machine setup requirements, and unexpected challenges whilemaintaininghigh productivity levels.
• Training and Mentorship: Ability to train new employees, provide ongoing support to the team, and promote continuous improvement in skills and processes.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other teams (e.g., maintenance, engineering, and quality control) to ensure smooth production operations.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of all products being produced and to catch errors before they become larger issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear instructions are given and tofacilitatecoordination with other departments (e.g., production, quality control, engineering).
