Job summary

Hypertherm Associates seeks a Manager of PCB Test Engineering to lead our PCB test organization, advancing ICT, functional test systems, and IC programming solutions. You will partner across design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to drive product quality and operational excellence.

The role demands 10+ years in engineering leadership with ICT platforms, fixture design, JTAG, and automation tool experience. Onsite in Lebanon, NH with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in PCB Design Engineering, PCB Test Engineering, ICT, Flying Probe, Functional Test, or IC Programming systems.
• Experience with ICT platforms (Keysight/Agilent) and fixture design.
• Strong data-driven quality methods and project/resource management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct PCB in-circuit testing (ICT), functional fixture development, and microprocessor programming.
• Define test strategy and design for testability to strengthen manufacturing quality.
• Analyze circuit coverage and guide design decisions using DFx, FMEA, SPC.
• Deliver scalable test solutions for internal operations and contract manufacturing partners.
• Enable new product development via reliable test architectures and qualification processes.
• Set and execute near- and long-term plans aligned with growth and operational goals.
• Create capacity models and roadmaps for future organizational needs.
• Increase yield, reduce costs, accelerate development, and elevate product quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and business partners to standardize practices.
• Guide and develop a high-performing PCB Test Engineering team.
• Mentor and plan career development for team members.
• Foster innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Who you are and the experience you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of leadership experience in one or more of the following areas:
• PCB Design Engineering
• PCB Test Engineering
• ICT, Flying Probe, Functional Test, or IC Programming Systems
• Demonstrated success leading engineering teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
• ICT platforms including Keysight/Agilent and Flying Probe systems
• PCB test development and fixture design
• JTAG and embedded programming technologies
• Altium, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, LabVIEW Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and related automation tools
• Statistical process control and data-driven quality methods
• Project and resource management
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
• Outstanding collaboration and influencing skills
• Proven ability to drive organizational change and build organizational capability
• Strong planning, prioritization, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• Location: Onsite in Lebanon, NH
• Travel: Up to 10% travel, including occasional international travel

Salary

$107,495.00-$179,160.00 Annual This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
