Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience as a general duty nurse preferred but not required.
• Current RN license to practice in the state; current BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care planning, organizing, and directing for patients on the unit.
• Initiate and implement patient care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and IV solutions following policy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reporting.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available for care.
• Participate in safety, infection-control, and quality improvement programs.
• Support privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other departments.
