Job summary

Ground Guys is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to join the landscape maintenance team. You will perform mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, pruning, and related tasks as part of a frontline crew.

You must be able to work outdoors in all weather, lift 35–80 pounds, and complete required training within six months if not already experienced. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour with 25–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in landscaping and lawn service.
• You must be willing to complete training within 6 months if you don’t have prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the boots-on-the-ground front-line team member delivering high-quality landscape care.
• Perform mowing, trimming, blowing, edging, weeding, pruning, and softscape tasks.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions; handle 35–80 lb lifting as needed.
• Ensure site is ready for the next day and tasks are wrapped up.

Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Team Member

• Front-Line Employee –
• You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care.
• The team performs basic tasks related to landscape maintenance at high levels of quality and service delivery. This includes but is not limited to mowing, string trimming, blowing, edging, weeding, pruning and edging, knowledge of horticulture and planting / softscape installations.
• You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often.
• You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

Job Requirements for Maintenance Team Member

• Prior experience in landscaping and lawn service.
• If you don’t already have experience, you must be willing to complete training within 6 months.

In addition, there are a few additional minimum requirements that are necessary to be considered for this position.

Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $18.00 and is dependent on your experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional. Hours per week range from 25 - 40 hours.
