Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring CDL A Team Truck Drivers for the Norwalk, OH area. Team drivers are on the road five days and home two days each week, with a yearly range of $140,000 to $160,000 per driver. A week of vacation is available after 90 days, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

R+L Carriers operates from the Norwalk service center, using up to 53’ van trailers or doubles. The role requires CDL A, a safe driving record, and the ability to pass DOT requirements and a road test.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (MVR/PSP) with limited or no serious violations.
• Age 23 (21 if FMCSA military-to-civilian CDL transition).
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to complete a road test.
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Must be dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers.
• Team drivers on the road 5 days and home 2 days each week.
• Earn a yearly compensation of $140,000–$160,000 per driver.
