Job summary

Residing Hope in Enterprise, FL is seeking compassionate Teaching Parents to join our residential program serving children and families in need.

As a Teaching Parent you will provide a nurturing home-like environment, implement the Teaching Family Model of Care, and work closely with the Treatment Team to support youth.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for this position: 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with at risk youth in a residential setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• A single Teaching Parent employee may have 1 child/dependent residing with them.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with co-workers to support and implement the Teaching Family Model of Care and holistic program philosophy
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with youth
• High personal values and standards that serve as model for youth
• Demonstrated ability to work with the Treatment Team to make decisions on issues related to the resident/residents in the cottage you are assigned
• Must have sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
