Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting laboratory operations in an academic teaching environment.
• Experience maintaining scientific laboratory equipment and coordinating equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Experience Training and mentoring laboratory personnel.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques, media preparation, and laboratory procedures.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, hazardous materials management, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong organizational, and recordkeeping skills; excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
