St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, NY, is seeking a non-tenure-track Teaching Instructor for Accounting. This role requires a master's degree and a CPA license, along with demonstrated teaching effectiveness across various course formats. The instructor will engage actively in teaching, academic advisement, and departmental responsibilities within a collaborative academic environment.
St. Joseph’s University in Patchogue, NY, seeks applications for a non-tenure-track teaching instructor position in various accounting courses. Candidates must show evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with experience teaching on campus, virtually, and online. Candidates must also remain open to teaching other courses as the department needs.
A minimum of a master’s degree in business and a NYS Certified Public Accountancy license as well as at least five years of professional work experience in Accounting is required.
Experience using online learning systems such as Canvas is also preferred.
Courses can include Fundamental and Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Cost/Managerial Accounting, Individual and Corporate Tax and Audit.

Candidates should also be enthusiastic about developing and delivering innovative coursework in the field and inspiring students to achieve academic success.
