Job summary

Acclaim Health, in partnership with JPS Health Network, seeks a Teaching Hospitalist/CDU Attending to deliver comprehensive inpatient care while educating residents and medical students at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX.

You will split time between direct patient care in the CDU and academic duties, supervise learners, participate in rounds, and contribute to quality improvement, with a focus on patient outcomes and educational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in graduate medical education and resident teaching.
• Board-certified inpatient physician preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership in hospital medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care and teaching to residents and medical students.
• Supervise residents, bedside teaching, and curriculum support.
• Support CDU operations and patient throughput.
• Maintain documentation per EMR standards.
• Participate in rounds and transitions of care.
• Engage in quality improvement and scholarly activity.
