The successful candidate will teach core and elective courses, mentor undergraduate students, and advise on careers. Preference given to candidates with MS/PhD, significant industry experience, and prior university teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience applying engineering principles in industry, government, nonprofit, and/or research settings.
• Advanced degree in chemical engineering or a closely related field or business, OR professional licensure (i.e. Professional Engineer), OR equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple core and elective chemical engineering courses.
• Provide mentoring and career and professional advising to students.
• Contribute to the evaluation and ongoing development of the undergraduate curriculum.
