Job summary

Bryant & Stratton College in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Faculty Development Coach to mentor faculty in instructional practices and assessment aligned with the college's learning philosophies. The role supports teaching across multiple modalities and helps instructors apply Bloom's taxonomy and evidence-based strategies.

You will collaborate with academic leaders, provide written feedback, and participate in workshops. A master’s degree and education administration experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in education or related field.
• Administrative experience in education settings.
• Classroom teaching experience and ability to observe instruction.
• Experience teaching in and/or observing instruction in multiple modalities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with faculty individually to provide feedback on instructional practices and assessment.
• Observe classrooms (ground-based and virtual) and provide feedback on teaching methods.
• Provide written reports on teaching methods and assessment practices.
• Track instructor progress within coaching and evaluation cycles.
• Model best practices in instruction and assessment.
• Collaborate with academic leaders to support faculty development.
• Stay informed on current research and instructional methodologies.
• Promote a network of faculty development within the college.
• Participate in committees related to instruction and assessment.
• Develop and deliver workshops and training programs.
