The University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a Teaching Assistant (TA) for the current semester. Responsibilities include assisting faculty with classes, conducting tutoring sessions, covering classes, and proctoring exams. The position requires enrollment in the MPA or MA-Political Science graduate programs.
This role is part-time, up to 20 hours a week, and offers an opportunity for real-world experience within the Department of Political Science.
This is a Teaching Assistant (TA) position which will assist faculty members with classes and courses, as well as assist with research and instrument development/assessment. This position may also cover classes or proctor exams. This position is for the current semester only. Upon successful completion as a TA for the current semester, the student will be reconsidered for a subsequent semester(s).
Up to 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

Student employees working regular student positions must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours to be eligible to work during the summer.
Students not enrolled in summer classes must be enrolled in fall classes to work during the summer; however, they (and the department) will be required to pay FICA taxes.
Student employees working FWSP positions must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours (undergraduate) or 5 credit hours (graduate) for Federal Work Study Program positions.
If the number of credit hours needed to graduate is less than the minimum number of hours required for student employment, the student must obtain a letter from their Academic Advisor (stating the number of hours needed to graduate and anticipated graduation date) and submit it to Human Resources.
