Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Assistthe lead teacher with planning and implementing fun, age-appropriate activities
• Help provide a warm, safe, and loving environment for our one-year-olds
• Support children during play, snack, story time, diapering, and nap transitions
• Encourage social development through gentle guidance and positive reinforcement
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with parents, staff, and fellow teachers
• Uphold our Catholic values in a waythat’sinclusive, respectful, and child-centered
• Complete paperworkin a timely manner.
• Knowledge of andcomplies withDepartment of Human Services regulations.
• Completes professional development asrequired.
• Attends monthly staffmeeting.

We’reLooking for Someone Who:

• Has a love for working with toddlers and a heart for early childhood education
• Is reliable, nurturing, and brings a sense of calm to a busy classroom
• Has experience in a preschool or daycare setting (preferred, notrequired)
• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
• Can lift, sit on the floor, and move around easily with active little ones
• Is comfortable working within a Catholic environment

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to complete all required training, professional development, and diocesan safe environment requirements.
• Ability to comply with Department of Human Services regulations and preschool policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a childcare, preschool, or daycare setting.
• Coursework or training in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices for young children.
