Job Overview:

This position assists and supports the course faculty in the instruction of students in the nursing education program. Responsible for classroom and laboratory teaching activities in assigned courses. Actively supports an outcomes-based, learning-centered culture through continued professional development for self and college improvement, aligned with the College’s values and goals. Reports to and is supervised by the Department Chair.

Location:

• Good Samaritan College-Nursing

Work Hours:

• Optional/PRN position
• Clinical shifts with level 4 students, 10 hours on Tuesdays in acute hospital units in TriHealth.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse
• Evidence of recognized professional competence
• Working knowledge of the nursing process
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• At least 24 months of diversified professional nursing experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist and work under the guidance of course faculty/mentors in classroom, clinical, and laboratory settings.
• Coordinate learning experiences with clinical staff.
• Contribute to course planning and attend meetings.
• Support departmental and college operations and goals.
