Job description

Position Summary The University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford is seeking an innovative and collaborative educator for a full-time Pathology faculty position. This role will develop and deliver pathology instruction within an integrated medical curriculum, with an emphasis on the basic principles needed for clinical practice. Responsibilities include lectures and other learning activities, curriculum development and integration, student assessment, and course administration. The faculty member will collaborate with colleagues across the Rockford, Chicago, and Peoria campuses on course schedules, instructional materials, assessments, and inter-campus educational initiatives while contributing to the continued renewal of the College of Medicine curriculum. The Rockford campus has a robust research program, and participation in educational scholarship/research is encouraged.
