You will encourage positivebehaviour, support children's social development and help create a happy and inclusivelunchtime environment.In the afternoon, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching and senior staff to supportteaching and learning in the classroom. You will help pupils access the curriculum, providetargeted support for groups and individuals, and contribute to a positive learning environmentwhere all children can succeed.As part of our wider inclusion ethos, you will play a key role in providing high-quality support thathelps remove barriers to learning, supports emotional, social and academic progress, andensures every pupil feels safe, valued and included.**Key Responsibilities - Midday Supervision**Supervise pupils during lunchtime, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour. Support children whilst eating their lunch, encouraging independence and promotinggood manners and healthy eating habits. Supervise and engage pupils during outdoor play, encouraging positive play experiences,cooperation and inclusion. Promote positive relationships and help children resolve minor disagreements usingrestorative approaches. Attend to minor first aid needs and report any incidents in line with school procedures.
