We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive staff team within our Alternative Provision.
Our AP provides an adaptive and highly individualised full-school curriculum to young people who, for various reasons, are not yet ready to engage in a full-time school placement. They may be autistic, might have attachment difficulties, or have social, emotional, and mental health needs with associated challenging behaviours. Our teachers are supported to be adaptive and reactive to the needs of the young person while still maintaining high expectations of progress.
It is an exciting time to join the team, as the AP is in the process of becoming OFSTED registered, which will enable us to support our young people full-time, ensuring they receive the best support to progress to a suitable permanent school placement.
The AP operates across two sites, both located on farms. Our young people gain from access to excellent facilities, including extensive woodland, allotments, a watersport lake, and an indoor climbing wall, as well as high-quality indoor learning spaces. Our exceptionally small class sizes and high staff ratios enable us to provide highly individualised, targeted support.
