Job summary

Milford Public Schools is seeking Teaching Assistants for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time role involves supporting teachers and students in a variety of educational settings, including Special Education and inclusion classrooms. Qualifications

Job Title: Teaching Assistant (3 positions)

Location: Woodland Elementary School

Schedule: 2025-2026 School Year, Hours: 8:15 AM - 2:45 PM

Salary: Per Contract, $18.54 - $24.19/hour based on experience & certification. To start on August 25, 2025.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with students with and without disabilities
  • Ability to assist in inclusion and/or Special Education classrooms
  • Experience with English Language Learners; Bilingual preferred
  • CPI training preferred
Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers and administration in the classroom
  • Support small groups and individual students with academic, social-emotional, and behavioral goals
  • Communicate and collaborate with teachers
  • Provide instruction in inclusion or small group settings
  • Modify curriculum as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Collect data on student performance
  • Assist students with daily living/self-help skills
  • Attend training opportunities
  • Perform supervisory duties as assigned
