Assists the preschool teacher with implementation of developmentally appropriate instructional activities, supervises high school students working with the children and completing various job related tasks.

Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED
Associate’s degree or higher preferred or;
At least 15 credit hours in Early Childhood Education or related field or; passing score on a skills assessment
One year experience working with preschool children or school age children in a formal setting
Ability to operate basic office software
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a limited basis
Ability to perform basic accounting duties
Methods, techniques and strategies used with preschool children
Valid First Aid/CPR certification
Proof of MMR immunization required unless born prior to January 1, 1957
Negative TB skin test within the last year, Tetanus with Pertussis, Hepatitis B series
Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or be able to obtain one
Valid Arizona Driver's License
Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to complete tasks from written and oral instructions
Ability to work with students in the appropriate grade levels (preschool and high school students)
Ability to work collaboratively with staff members
