The Teaching Artist, Musical Theatre is a part-time role teaching at school sites across Southern California. This position leads students ages 4 to 18 through acting, singing, and movement, guiding them from first rehearsal to final performance. Daily responsibilities include planning and teaching engaging lessons, directing scenes and musical numbers, managing a positive classroom, and preparing students for showcases and performances. Teaching Artists communicate with ALC program staff about attendance, schedules, and student needs, attend ALC trainings, and model professionalism with school partners and families.
