Job summary

Thisiscny in Syracuse, NY seeks a General Anesthesiologist for a full-time, teaching hospital role. You will support a Level 1 Trauma Center, supervise residents, CRNAs and medical students, and provide anesthesia for adult patients and possibly pediatric cases within the hospital.

Required NYS license, DEA, ACLS, and board eligibility or board certification. Am/PM rotating shifts with weekends and some holidays; salary is DOQ.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS medical license and DEA registration.
• Updated ACLS certification.
• Board eligibility (in exam process) or board certification.
• Experience supervising residents, CRNAs and medical students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents, CRNAs and medical students.
• Provide anesthesia on adult patients and possibly some pediatric patients.
• Work within a Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital setting.
