Job summary

Locums Choice seeks 2 General Anesthesiologists for an immediate locum tenens assignment at a busy Level 1 Trauma center in New York. The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with NO CALL, working 7:00 AM–3:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 5x8s.

This is a full-time opportunity with no OB and a diverse, high-acuity case mix. CRNA supervision is in place; approximately 5–10% of cases are performed independently by anesthesiologists.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for high-acuity cases in a Level 1 Trauma center.
• Supervise CRNAs per the facility's CRNA supervision model.

• Schedule: 5x8s | Monday–Friday
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• NO CALL
• Full-time ONLY
• Minimum 6-month commitment

Providers can expect a diverse and high-acuity case mix and no OB.

• CRNA supervision model
• Approximately 5–10% of cases are independently performed by anesthesiologists
• Approximately 30 Anesthesiologists
• 8 CRNAs
• Application may be initiated while NY license is pending
• Clean file preferred for faster processing
