Job summary

KinderCare in Essex, CT seeks a Teacher to implement our curriculum while adapting to each child’s needs. You will foster a safe, nurturing space for play and learning and actively engage with parents to support their children’s development.

You will collaborate with center staff and leadership to promote enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, building strong relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and the community.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Ability to engage with children at their level and ensure safety.
• Read, write, speak English to communicate with children and parents.

• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
