Job summary

The Dean of Students at Tulsa Public Schools leads efforts to create a positive, structured, achievement-oriented and disciplined school culture that supports the district’s Vision for Learning. The Dean oversees behavioral support for students and serves as a main school contact for parents and guardians.

A successful Dean is passionate about supporting our students and proactively works to develop productive relationships with teachers, students, and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must have or be pursuing a Master’s degree.
• Three (3) years of teaching experience.
• Oklahoma teaching certificate or ability to obtain.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead school culture focused on achievement and discipline.
• Oversee behavioral support for students.

The Dean of Students oversees behavioral support for studentsand serves as a main school contact for parents and guardians. A successful Dean is

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Must have or be pursuing a Masters’ degree

Experience:

• Three (3) years of teaching experience

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:

• Oklahoma teaching certificate or ability to obtain
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
