Job summary

Kids Count is seeking a Preschool Teacher to oversee early childhood education efforts and support daily learning in a nurturing classroom.

You will design activities with Creative Curriculum, ensure safety, and maintain strong communication with families to celebrate each child’s progress.

Qualifications

• Lead Teacher with experience working with preschoolers.
• Strong communication skills for parent and guardian interactions.
• Patience, creativity, and teamwork in a caring environment.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required or in progress.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs to assist children.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging lesson plans and activities using Creative Curriculum to support growth.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment and supervise indoor/outdoor activities.
• Make curriculum fun while honoring our educational philosophy.
• Communicate progress and milestones with parents via the Engagement App.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a warm, caring atmosphere.

• Safety First: Our kids’ safety is our top priority. You’ll ensure a secure, clean environment and keep a watchful eye on them during indoor and outdoor adventures.
• Curriculum Fun: Get creative with our curriculum! We encourage you to bring your own flair while following our educational philosophy.
• Friendship Building: Build strong connections with parents and guardians, keeping them in the loop about their child’s progress and memorable moments through the Engagement App.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Lead Teacher
