The Teacher at Horsham Clinic will provide age- and developmentally appropriate educational instruction in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic. The Teacher is responsible for following the existing curriculum set forth by organizational guidelines.

• Bachelors Degree in Education required; Masters preferred.
• PA Elementary or Secondary Education Certification must be held.

The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic and talented Teacher (PRN).

The Horsham Clinic is a 206 bed private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55-acre suburban campus. We are minutes from Philadelphia and we serve Southeast Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Horsham Clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Programs and services are located on the main campus in Ambler, Pennsylvania, as well as satellite day hospital programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware County, and Chester County. Summary

Qualifications

Requirements

• 2-3 years experience working in Psychiatric Mental Health setting
• Bachelors Degree in Education required. Masters Degree preferred
• PA Elementary or Secondary Education Certification.
• Comfortability working with patient population encompassing K-12 ages groups.
• Experience and knowledge in child/adolescent development; emotional/behavioral disorders in young people, classroom management; PA core curriculum standards.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of behavioral mental health, classroom management, and positive reinforcement
• Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.
