Job summary

San Marcos Unified School District is posting a full-time opportunity for an Education Specialist credential holder. The position requires ES credentials for Extensive Support Needs or Moderate/Severe settings and an English Learner Authorization.

Applicants may attach letters if credentials are pending, and Emergency CLAD permits may be considered. Include introduction letters, resumes, and three recommendations with the application.

Qualifications

• Valid California Education Specialist Credential Authorizing service in an Extensive Support Needs or Moderate/Severe setting is required.
• If you do not currently possess a valid credential or EL authorization, attach a letter listing your current University, expected graduation date to the credential section of the online application.
• English Learner Authorization (CLAD, ELA1, BASP, ELAM, ELAS all accepted) is required.
• If you do not currently possess a full English Learner Authorization, we can cover you under an Emergency CLAD Permit if offered a position with the District.
• Autism Authorization is required.
• Letters of Introduction, Resume, and 3 Letters of Recommendation must be forwarded with the on-line application prior to the posting close date.
