Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania seeks energetic and passionate PDE certified Teachers to work with students with disabilities, ages 5 up to 21 in our extended school year program planned for the summer of 2024.
Our center-based ESY program serves students with significant disabilities.
We are looking for teachers who can create fun, engaging instruction to help the students maintain and build upon their recent progress. Teachers will be required to implement and progress monitor IEP goals. The ESY program has a creative "camp-like" atmosphere allowing for flexible and motivating lesson planning aligned to summer themed activities. This position offers the right candidate an opportunity to become part of our multi-disciplinary supportive team working with students with disabilities and their families.
Bachelor's degree required in Special Education or related area preferred.
PDE Certification in Special Education preferred. Candidates will be considered if eligibility requirements for PDE emergency certification are met.
