  • Salary: $67,032 - $134,596 per year* (2024/25 SVEA Salary Schedule); *2025/26 TBD; based on 1.0 FTE; position is 0.6 FTE.
Qualifications
  • Required: Valid Washington State certificate with appropriate endorsement (students may submit a note stating when certificate is expected).
Role Responsibilities

The Special Education Teacher will facilitate student success across academics, independence, social situations, and behavior through evidence-based curriculum and individualized planning. Responsibilities include case management, documenting student progress, data collection and analysis, addressing student needs, ensuring a safe learning environment, and facilitating the IEP process. The teacher performs under the general direction of the building principal or program director with assistance from staff. For full details, see the attached job description.
