EFFECTIVE DATE OF EMPLOYMENT: Start of the 2025-2026 school year.

Performance Responsibilities
  • Remain up to date regarding curriculum content.
  • Plan instruction effectively.
  • Plan assessment of student learning effectively.
  • Monitor students' understanding of the curriculum and adjust instruction, materials, or assessments when appropriate.
  • Create a positive environment for student learning and involvement.
  • Maintain standards of behavior, mutual respect, and safety.
  • Make learning goals clear to students.
  • Use appropriate instruction and questioning techniques.
  • Evaluate and refine instructional strategies, including effective use of technologies, to increase student learning and confidence.
  • Communicate learning goals and high standards to students.
  • Promote confidence and perseverance, encouraging students to take responsibility for their learning.
  • Strive for equitable opportunities for all students.
  • Demonstrate appreciation for and sensitivity to diversity.
  • Maintain constructive and cooperative interactions with parents.
  • Share responsibility for achieving grade, team, and district goals.
  • Be a reflective and continuous learner.
  • Comply with policies, agreements, laws, and regulations.
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues and school personnel.
Requirements
  • Salary based on experience and education per the pay schedule in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Valid certification for teaching in Massachusetts.
  • SEI endorsement/ESL licensure preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with the appropriate age group.
