EFFECTIVE DATE OF EMPLOYMENT: Start of the 2025-2026 school year.
Performance Responsibilities
- Remain up to date regarding curriculum content.
- Plan instruction effectively.
- Plan assessment of student learning effectively.
- Monitor students' understanding of the curriculum and adjust instruction, materials, or assessments when appropriate.
- Create a positive environment for student learning and involvement.
- Maintain standards of behavior, mutual respect, and safety.
- Make learning goals clear to students.
- Use appropriate instruction and questioning techniques.
- Evaluate and refine instructional strategies, including effective use of technologies, to increase student learning and confidence.
- Communicate learning goals and high standards to students.
- Promote confidence and perseverance, encouraging students to take responsibility for their learning.
- Strive for equitable opportunities for all students.
- Demonstrate appreciation for and sensitivity to diversity.
- Maintain constructive and cooperative interactions with parents.
- Share responsibility for achieving grade, team, and district goals.

Requirements
- Salary based on experience and education per the pay schedule in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Valid certification for teaching in Massachusetts.
- SEI endorsement/ESL licensure preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience with the appropriate age group.
