University Hospitals Pain Management in Parma, OH is seeking a dedicated team member to support daily childcare activities within our program. The role emphasizes maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom and following a structured schedule while assisting with developmental screenings and health-related tasks.

The candidate will monitor for illness, sanitize materials, and ensure PHI compliance. Regular communication with families and adherence to Ohio licensing rules are essential to our quality

What You Will Do

• Follows daily schedule
• Helps complete assessments and developmental screenings as assigned
• Maintains a caring, inclusive, classroom experience
• Maintains a safe environment by practicing active supervision
• Maintains a healthy learning environment by sanitizing materials
• Creates and keeps current an account on the Ohio Professional Registry including 10 hours of Ohio Approved training annually
• Communicates with families daily regarding their child’s activities and wellbeing
• Monitors children for illness and medical needs to prevent and respond to medical emergencies
• Remain compliant ODJFS Child Care Licensing Rules at all times

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
